Student-led Online Collaboration and Mindset Routines: A Unique View into Student Thinking

Students’ mindsets about their ability to learn and belong play a critical role in the motivation to employ new learning strategies. This session explores how a new online instructional strategy, delivered via collaborative structures in an online mathematics course, creates opportunities for student growth and success.

Participants will:

  • learn about online instructional strategies and activities designed to support critical social-emotional aspects of student success;
  • understand a new way to deploy an online course that provides opportunities for authentic and meaningful student-led collaboration; and
  • explore an online instructional model that grants instructors deeper insight into student thinking.

This will be a pre-recorded session available on-demand with conference registration.
